My twin newphews passed away at 14 weeks. They were delivered on March 4th in Cottonwood. We are not sure if we should have them cremated. Their parents are afraid that there will be nothing left. I wish someone could tell us something.

Thank you so much for donating the plot for baby "Angel". It means so much to me because my mother passed away around the same time as she did and I live near where the baby was found. It makes me feel good, knowing she's buried near my mom. Thank you also for having such a beautiful memorial garden. I also agree with the others who have thanked you for your tour of cremation. It is nice to have the information to make a decision.

Your tour of the cremation process was altogether an education and the photos revealing as a final disposition of a deceased person. My husband died of a sudden death heart attack and the family was left with no other choice at that time. We knew nothing about the process and I have wondered about it since then. I do not believe that there is any process which is pleasing to the living left behind, never the less, as you said; a decision must be made. The tour has taken the guess work out of my mind regarding cremation. One result of cremation that we felt good about was the fact that we could send his remains to the East coast where his parents were buried. His urn is now buried next to them and his name is inscribed on the tombstone along with theirs. Thank you for the tour.

Thank you so much for providing a "tour" of your facility, in order to help us understand the steps that are gone through for the creamation process. I just lost my daddy less than 2 weeks ago, and now have him in a beautiful urn in my home. I had many questions, and was honestly scared that there was somehow a slight chance that when a person was creamated, their remains could get "mixed up" with someone else. Thank you so much again for your website. It's nice to now have peace of mind that in fact it is my daddy that I still get to talk to everyday!!!

I had a very close friend drop dead on me,Dec. 2002. I had no say in the arrangements and was devasted to learn it was a rented casket and creamation. No one was informed of it and that they were opening his Fathers grave for his final resting place. If we are not foolish we all should plan for death as it will come and we know not the hour. He was 65 yrs. and I am 48 yrs. Taking the Paradise Memorial Tour Has helped me understand many things I had questions about. You answered those Questions in a clear and direct way. I don't think I have gotten as much information anywhere and presented so fine. Thank you for your site. I'm sure those who take time to view it will will appreciate it as much as I did. Thank you. My husband's cremains are entombed in your mausoleum. One of the people who work there offered to take me on a tour when I had the entombment done, but at the time I didn't have much time. I was wondering: when my husband was cremated, they used a steel coffin. I often wondered about that. There seems to be some difference of opinion as to whether or not a coffin should be used or not. Thank you for having this on the internet.

I had my wonderful Chow dog/14 yrs. old cremated, last summer~~It nearly killed me, to loose him, I have his ashes now, but, was told, that the skulls of humans and dogs, are too thick to be cremated, and are disposed of by other means. I was wondering just what, or where, are all the skulls disposed of ?? Could I have requested and gotten the skull from the remains ( cremated ) of my pet, if not, why ?? I want to continue to use this process, with my additional pets, when the time comes, however, I hate to "think" I didn't recieve all of the remains from my pet. Thank you, for you assistance in answering these questions. Sincerely, jennie

My Father was cremated at your facility today. The staff were very respectful and compliant with my desire to see him one last time and to witness the initiation of the cremation process. I did have one concern however. When your facility first opened a gentleman (I believe it was Paul Messenger) geva a televised tour. During the tour he dispalyed a box containing various artificial hip and knee joints that were all tossed together unceremoniously in a communal box. My Dad suffered from servere rheumation arthritis all of his life and had artificial hips, knees and fingers. I asked the young gentleman to insure that they were disposed of in a dignified and proper manner and not tossed in a scrap box. He assured me that this would happen and though I have no way other than his word to verify that this happened, I must admit that I found the rememberance of that video still hauntilngly friesh in my mind. I will however give your staff the benefit of the doubt in this matter as overall they were quite understanding and rescectful of my Father and myself.

Wow! Thanks for the informative slide show. I'm 41 and have always thought cremation is the way to go. You took away the creepy inferno visions I've had. And you used a cute guy instead of someone resembling Lurch of the Addams Family! Your facility is impeccably clean. I think I'll stop by our local crematory here in El Cajon and take a look. It's always in trouble for excess 'emissions' and we often see puffs of black smoke mingling with the steam of the Jack in the Box next door. (I'm not kidding! It's right on I-8 before El Cajon). Yours seems to be state of the art is this the norm for the industry? Thanks again.

Strongly believe in cremation. However, have just read about toxicity from retorts: mercury from fillings, dioxins, PCBs. Most countries in Europe do not allow cardboard, compressed woods, plastic, clothing or anything with lead based paint to enter retorts. Comments please.

While I appreaciate your professional methods, It is hard to believe that the State would not make this a requirement for all creamatories. How could any business be given that much responsibility without a certain amount of legal concerns. Although these people have passed on, their remains should still be treated with some since of dignity. I not only hold the owner's responsible, I hold the state as responsible. Someone else knew that these practices were bein allowed and I believe it's been going on for much longer than it's being reported, even prior to the last 20 years Thank you for being a responsible business, especially when it relates to human dignity.

I just wanted to commend you on the fine job you have done on explaining the creamation process. As you can see from my address, I live near the Tri-State Crematory. This is a scar that will not soon be forgotten. I can see from the information you have provided that if every crematory followed the procedures and record keeping you do it would never happen. Especially by working closely with the funeral homes. I hope your industry will soon overcome this horrible nightmare one individual has caused. T
